Corban Villa is interested in Cybersecurity, Mathematics and AI.
He currently works in the New York University Abu Dhabi Center for Cybersecurity with Professor Christina Pöpper on privacy in large language models, and with Professor Michail Maniatakos on Industrial Control System security. Corban attends the New York University campus in Abu Dhabi to study Computer Science, with an emphasis in Cybersecurity and a minor in Math.

- November 21st, 2024: My first first-author research paper was accepted to NDSS 2025. Looking forward to presenting it in San Diego! 🎉
- September 9th, 2024: Officially disclosed my first vulnerability. 🥳
- July 15th, 2024: Attended PETS 2024 with Shujaat Mirza to introduce our new privacy paper. We were honored to be named a runner-up for the Andreas Pfitzmann Best Student Paper Award!
- March 5th, 2024: Volunteering at ACNS 2024, hosted here at NYU Abu Dhabi. Loved Nadia Heninger's keynote on finding cryptographic vulnerabilities in the wild.
- November 9th, 2024: First time at CSAW. DScope was definitely a favorite from the poster sessions.
- August 14th, 2023: Loving the talks this year at the DEFCON AI Village.
- August 9th, 2023: A paper on GitHub Copilot Leaks was presented at USENIX Security '23. I had the opportunity to contribute by running the StarCoder experiments!
