Corban Villa is interested in Cybersecurity, Systems and AI.

Corban attends the New York University campus in Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) to study Computer Science, with an emphasis in Cybersecurity and a minor in Math. He works as a student researcher at the NYUAD Center for Cybersecurity with Professor Christina Pöpper on privacy in large language models, and with Professor Michail Maniatakos on Industrial Control System security.

• November 21st, 2024: My first first-author research paper was accepted to NDSS 2025. Looking forward to presenting it in San Diego! 🎉
• September 9th, 2024: Officially disclosed my first vulnerability. 🥳
• July 15th, 2024: Attended PETS 2024 with Shujaat Mirza to introduce our new privacy paper. We were honored to be named a runner-up for the Andreas Pfitzmann Best Student Paper Award!

• March 5th, 2024: Volunteering at ACNS 2024, hosted here at NYU Abu Dhabi. Loved Nadia Heninger's keynote on finding cryptographic vulnerabilities in the wild.
• November 9th, 2024: First time at CSAW. DScope was definitely a favorite from the poster sessions.
• August 14th, 2023: Loving the talks this year at the DEFCON AI Village.
• August 9th, 2023: A paper on GitHub Copilot Leaks was presented at USENIX Security '23. I had the opportunity to contribute by running the StarCoder experiments!
